Warner Home Video has announced I Am Legend will be making its second Blu-ray appearance in less than a year in a new two-disc Ultimate Collector’s Edition package on December 9, day-and-date with a three-disc companion DVD version.
The Ultimate Collector’s Edition will come packaged with an exclusive 44-page concept sketch book, a lenticular lucite commemorative piece featuring imagery from the film, and six collectible art cards showing international cities devastated by the virus — all in an ” an elegant, all-inclusive box perfect for holiday gift giving.”
On the content side, both the theatrical and controversial endings will be included along with a digital copy on a second disc and over 2 hours of all-new extras. The full list is as follows.

“Blindness” will opens tomorrow here in Brazil, and so with luck we start to find some promotional material about the movie.
The portal Globo.com has a interview with Alice talking about her character, and also about her co-stars (Mark, Julianne, Gael, Danny). And, of course, her “godfather” Fernando Meirelles.

In São Paulo the Ministry of Culture announced today (9) the list of 14 films which will be selected to compete Oscar of best international film in 2009.
The films should be entered until the last Monday (8). The production shall be analyzed by a commission of professionals: Antonio Alfredo Torres Bandeira, Cleber Eduardo Miranda dos Santos, Silvia Maria Sachs Rabello, Maria Dora Genis Mourão, Giba Assis Brasil e Paulo Sérgio Almeida. They shall be coordinated by the secretary of audiovisual policy of the Ministry of Culture, Silvio Da-Rin.
The title chosen to represent Brazil will be announced on September 16th in Rio de Janeiro. This is the list of the films entered:
