Maybe, because of her Brazilian genes, actress Alice Braga looks good even when sweaty after a jungle trek. And with the sweltering heat plaguing everyone, a lesson could be learned from Braga — now the go-to girl for sci-fi action thrillers. This time, as the bust-ass female lead in Predators — with co-star Adrien Brody — IDF sniper Isabelle takes charge of a pack of errant mercs, para-military, rebels and hardcore criminals who are forced to band together to survive after they are mysteriously chute-dropped into an unknown tropical forest on a distant world.

Chosen because they kill without conscience, these warriors, some trained, some not, battle a pack of 10-foot-tall Predators who are hunting them as prey. Alice is the new face of brazilian Cori and she was present during the Cori catwalks on São Paulo Fashion Week, last June 10. She took pictures from Cori campaign this month, and it will be up soon!

Alice is featured on June issue of brazilian Rolling Stones. In this interview, she’s talking about her new movie Predators, about wanting to work in a miniseries here in Brazil, and also how excited was working with Harrison Ford. Or “Indiana Jones” as she calls him.

Alice can’t tell exactly where does she lives. “In nowhere”, she laughs. “I consider New York and São Paulo as my home. I’m always in Los Angeles and Rio. So, I live in four places at the same time”.

Talking about Predators, she says it was fun to do this movie. “How couldn’t be fun? Running from a predator in the middle of the jungle?”. She also says she has scars and scratches from filming it. And her gun was a real one, with 6kg.

Alice also talk about working in “male” movies, as Repo Men, City of God, I’m a Legend, Predators, Low City… where she was basically the only female. “If you’re between mans, you need to be strong”.
